DESCRIPTION:
APW - Hamilton, grade 992 in two-tone damascene, 16S, GF OF "Railroad Model" original Wadsworth case, SW-LS, rare WE-DSD marked "Adjusted for Railroad Service 21 Jewels," fully capped lever escapement, 21J, GJS, GCW, gilt screws and regulator, crazy checkerboard center pattern gilt & NI damascene, s#1610955, ca 1919.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall, slight cloudiness, subdued color contrast; dial with hl in center and another in outer chapter, MFS and edge microfleck; near mint hands; case shows very light wear, some MFS, no dents or dings; bow tight, almost ideal replacement crown shows no wear, slightly large internally; good glass crystal. A rare and desirable dial on scarce two-tone mvt.
